Modi versus India in Bihar: India won

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak

BJP has been rejected by the people of Bihar. This is because; people have rejected Modi, whose role as Prime Minister has become such offensive against the purpose and essence of India that, eminent thinkers, authors, artists, scientists, achievers and other enhancers of India’s mana are returning the national honors and decorations the country was proud to have conferred on them, in protest against official nexus with enemies of national integration.

So, in Bihar, the battle was, in fact, between factors of disintegration and national integration of India.

Thus it was Modi versus India in Bihar. India has won.

It should not be forgotten that in 2014, people had given their mandate to Modi only.

The people of India had never voted for BJP.

This party of the hoarders and profiteers came to power; because, Modi is their platform personified. And, further because, the people wanted to throw the Congress into the dustbin to teach it a lesson for having forced upon them a Dracula sort of Prime Minister in shape of Manmohan Singh who enjoyed people’s devastation under capitalistic exploitation.

As the Communists were not there to be taken as an alternative, the people had none but Modi before their eyes to avenge Singh’s anti-people administration.

Hence, acceptance of Modi in 2014 was never a people’s considered decision; it was an act of collective conniption, which was, naturally, to recede in a short time.

After thrashing the congress for being the platform of the anti-India American stooge Manmohan Singh, the condition of conniption receded; and the people, on application of mind, rejected the Modi gang in Delhi and now also, they have done the same in Bihar. But this rejection in Bihar is more significant and well defined, as it has unambiguously hammered down the rising head of a Hitler in the making.

By giving majority seats to Lalu Prasad Yadav, people have shown that they view Modi as more corrupt than the fodder scam accused.

By giving more than six times higher number of seats to the Congress led by Rahul Gandhi who had hurled the word “nonsense” at the American stooge Manmohan Singh, the people have expressed their disapproval of Modi’s Americanism under the cover of his “make in India” call.

By rejecting the BJP in Bihar, the patriotic people have shown that, they will no more tolerate any new Jai Chandra to invite any new Muhammad Ghori to grab India to “make in India” for his profit.

The people of Bihar have made it clear that, the ‘East India Company’ that had paved the way for total loss of India’s independence to British avarice will not be allowed to return in the new attire of ‘West India Company’ to “make in India” to ruin India’s independence.

Therefore, in Bihar, it was Modi versus India. And, India has won.

You have used your public office to ruin India, Mr. Manmohan Singh, if not to “enrich” yourself

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak

The mouse never enriches itself by being in a position to treat a book taking advantage of lack of vigilance on part of a librarian, but it ruins the book by gnawing it down to tiniest pieces of useless papers. If the mouse says, “I have not enriched myself” thereby, should that look different from your assertion, “I have not used my public office to enrich myself”, Mr. Manmohan Singh?

Who other than you before you had ruined India to the point of such irrecoverability that a helpless people resigned to fate elected a man like Modi whose government deliberately dropped the core force of Indian Constitution – secularity and socialism – from its Preamble in its official advertisement in this year’s Republic day environment, Mr. Singh?

What was your reaction thereto Mr. Manmohan Singh? You knew that 42nd amendment had absolutized the Preamble that reads:

“WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity;
and to promote among them all
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation”

You knew that when any Article of the Constitution can be amended, the Preamble cannot be amended, as it is not an Article; rather is the mother of all Articles.

What sort of a Republic we are to be? The Preamble answers: a Sovereign Democratic Republic we are to be. How can we be such a Democratic Republic? The Preamble answers: if we can be secular. How can we become secular? The Preamble answers: If we can be socialist. So, the only way India can remain a Sovereign Democratic Republic is available in socialism. In other words, existence of India lies in socialism. You, Mr. Manmohan Singh knew it as all of us know it. And you know the bare definition of socialism is: social ownership over means of production.

Therefore, without venturing any amendment on the Preamble, as shrewd servants of capitalist conglomerate, you and Pranab Mukherjee, under the mask of P.V.Narasimha Rao, had subjected India to GATT agreement behind back of the people and thereby rendered the Preamble inconsequential. Since that day, India has succumbed to your design to take a turn from socialism to capitalism and thousands of crores of Indians have been pushed into starvation, to drag whom to condition of slow starvation, you had engineered supply of subsidized food grains like rice and wheat at the rate of Rs.2/- (even Re.1) per Kg.

Do you remember Mr. Singh, you had expressed “shame” over being confronted with the reality that “In India” around 46 per cent of all children below the age of three are too small for their age, 47 per cent are underweight and at least 16 per cent are wasted. Many of these children are severely malnourished”, in the Report of the ‘Citizen’s Alliance against Hunger and Malnutrition’ (HANGaMA) that you, as the Prime Minister of India, had released on 10 January 2012 ?

I, as a citizen, had expressed my shock in these pages over the admitted spread of abject poverty under your practice of capitalism and your scheme of globalization, under the caption: “Where is shame we may use in being ashamed?” Did you do anything tangible to save India from the “shame” you so shamelessly had depicted in that HANGaMA meeting, Mr. Singh?

When whole of India was trembling under uncontrolled rise in prices of essential commodities, you Mr. Singh had refused to clamp any control on avaricious traders by saying you had no “magic Wand” to reduce prices. You had pushed innumerable Indians, who were unable to meet the price rise, to condition of starvation, for which Mid Day Meal and one-rupeean-rice was contrived so that people may be dragged into slow-starvation from starvation and instead of dying soon, they may continue to live although in inanition. Had any other Prime Minister before you had used his office to push people to such ruin, Mr. Singh?

Be it the business of the terror funding Bank of a Pakistani namely BCCI, or implementing American design to provide “Bonanza” to US nuke traders by signing the nuke deal with them arbitrarily by keeping our Parliament in total dark about the “text” of the Hyde Act, which was a design to clamp on India the Americans’ rotten reactors to permanent detriment of Indian environment, in each of your such mischief, have you not misused your office as Prime Minister for benefit of foreigners at the cost of India, Mr. Singh?

Exposed by the CAG over mega scams that ruined the economy of India, had you not tried to intimidate the top auditor of the Country, Mr. Singh? Have you not obstructed the relevant CBI Court to hear you in matter of exposed scam, by way of invoking the intervening powers of the Apex Court? Was it not morally proper for you to honor the CBI court summon and state your version that could have helped the said court to determine if institution of the case before it was prima facie sound? Is it not ruining the manna of the CBI Court?

Who knows whether or not you have enriched yourself by using your office? But had you not accommodated compradors in your cabinet while holding the office of Prime Minister as the scams exposed by lawful authorities so emphatically suggest, Mr. Singh?

Should you not address yourself to introspection and come out honestly with your confession on what harm you have done to India?

Or yet you are blind to the ills of capitalism that you had clamped on India to please the Americans?

Or you are relaxed as your successor Mr. Modi, whom you have already met in a secluded room with only both of you privy to what you discussed, is set to enhance your economic policy so that the ruin he shall perpetrate will exceed that what you caused, bringing the gullible people eventually to say, you were better than Modi, exactly as the people before voting for BJP were saying, Vajpayee was better than you?

You were a teacher. Invoke the teacher again in you and confess your crimes against the Country, which only a teacher can do. Guts, an axiom says, is required to commit a crime, but greater guts is necessary to confess the crime. Show that you have the greater guts. As a man in politics, you committed wrong by subjecting India to capitalism, which has ruined India. Confess that.

Fidgets: Manmohan Singh who called revolutionaries ‘left viruses’, calls CBI Court ‘mindless’

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is in fidgets, as situation has been created to judicially focus on his face.

Being summoned by the CBI Court in Coal Block allocation scam, instead of cooperating with the Court as an ideal citizen, he is trying to evade the Court, by preferring a litigation in the Supreme Court of India seeking quashing of the summon.

At the crux of his petition lies his perception that the CBI Court is mindless.

The summon issued to him is generated because of “non application of mind”, he has alleged.

He is a man who, in his nefarious design to render the Constitution of India purposeless by sabotaging its resolve for socialism, had hurled the wordy filth ‘left viruses’ at the revolutionaries that fight for socialism, to overcome whose impact his government was giving the people opiates like subsidized wheat and rice to keep them under slow-starvation while continuing to densify capitalism, which was the cause of starvation.

Now the same man Manmohan Singh, lest the CBI Court comes to the conclusion that he was working as a comprador in the coal block allocation matter, has called the Court mindless.

When in Office, Singh had tried to belittle the dignity of India’s Constitutional Authority of Audit – the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) – whose reports were exposing the black deeds of his administration.

Singh was terribly irritated when in March 2012 the CAG estimated that the country has suffered a financial loss to the tune of Rs.10.7 Lakh Crores because of scam in coal block allocation during the period from 2004 to 2009. In May 29, 2012, he asserted that he would give up his public life if found guilty of the scam.

When the CBI court is attempting to find out whether or not he is guilty of the scam, and the ready issue in hand is his role in allocation of Talbira -II coal block to a particular private company called Hindalco in 1996, the same Manmohan Singh is trying to quash the Court’s attempt to reach at the truth!

The people of India have punished the Congress as severely as possible only in order to avenge Manmohan Singh’s misrule and treason against the country. His administration was marked for unprecedented treachery against the people, subjugation of India to American hegemony, compromising with India’s future in order to ensure “bonanza” to Americam Nuke traders, and amongst may other offenses against the country, attempts to thwart the Supreme Court’s judgment through vested interest ordinances, disturbed over which, Rahul Gandhi, the only person in Congress marked for his eagerness to be one with the poorest of the poor Indians the victims of or threatened by big private industries, had called Manmohan’s ordinance-missile against the Court as ‘Nonsense’.

Let the Supreme Court decide his petition as it likes, because there is no avenue available to the people to intervene with what it will hold.

But the conscience of any citizen of this country holds that whether or not the former Prime Minister of India has acted a comprador in coal block allocation to Hindalco be determined through a competent Court of Law within a specific time.

Incorrigible Congress

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak

It seems the Congress Party is incorrigible. For its offense of keeping Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister, people of India have punished this party by thrashing it into the ignominy of having no strength even to have the chair of the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Instead of condemning Singh for all the offenses he committed against the people of India, the party has staged demonstration in his support, when a Special Court has summoned him in the matter of coal block scam.

Repeated use of CBI to cultivate a clean chit for Singh has failed and the Court has declared that there are “incriminating circumstances”, enough to summon Singh to find out the truth. The Court has taken note of “the extra undue interest” Singh’s office had overwhelmed the MoC with to help Kumar Mangalam Birla bag the Talabira-II coal block for Hindalco. “The repeated reminders from PMO, written as well as telephonic, to MoC to expeditiously process” the allocation of the coal block to Hindalco is an indicator, according to the 75-page order of the court promulgating the summon on March 11.

As the mega scam had come out in CAG report and as concerned files were found missing, we had wondered in these pages: Are members of the Congress Party not ashamed of Manmohan Singh?

Congress members did not dare to express their shame.

Had they, the Congress party might not have been forced out of office by the people.

Now in support of Manmohan Singh, they have dared to condemn the judicial wisdom of the Special Court!

It seems the Congress Party is incorrigible.

Are members of the Congress Party not ashamed of Manmohan Singh?

In absence of an organized uncompromising Left,  the nation needs the Congress most urgently now. members of the Congress party should tell their so-called supremo Sonia Gandhi that they ought to stand with the people of India, not with fellows like Manmohan Singh who sabotaged Indian interest to provide the “Bonanza for U.S. Firms” they were so desperately searching for.

This posting is directly addressed to the members of the Congress Party. Let them shun sycophancy and wake up in cause of the Nation. More than me, they know, how Manmohan Singh has harmed India. Let them rise to the occasion, help the Court to prosecute him and welcome if he is punished. If they do this, I believe, people may again embrace the Congress, in absence of a credible Communist movement.

Litigation and Modi Mission seem sic passim the letter of Jayanti Natarajan

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak

Jayanti Natarajan’s letter to Sonia Gandhi, dated November 5, 2014, was not supposed to reach the Press. But it reached the Press and got circulated.

She has not denied the letter. But, on the other hand, has added strength to it through media yesterday.

If she is to be believed, Ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s role was not becoming of the position he was holding.

But, she has no grievance against Singh.

What, then, Jayanti’s letter aims at?

It aims at dragging Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to litigation for the damage allegedly done to her and her family’s reputation by forcing her to resign from the post of Union Minister of State (I/C) Environment and Forest on December 20, 2013.

To make out the case, she has first focused on what a family of high repute she hails from and then proceeded to how her personal and family reputation has been tarnished and shattered by making her resign from the ministerial post she was holding.

She has raised the question of ‘natural justice’ which was and has been denied to her at the time of and after her enforced resignation. “If indeed I had been guilty of wrongdoing, I would have been happy to have been given a chance to defend myself, and I would have emerged pure and transparent and victorious. This opportunity was not given to me” she has said.

Thus making out a case of denial of natural justice to her, she has alleged, “Until now, I have been unable to understand what was wrongdoing committed by me to suddenly receive what was virtually a sentence of death”.

And, then, she has enumerated the damages done to her in these words:

“Over the last 11 months I have undergone untold mental and physical agony, as a result of this incident. I have major health issues due to my tension and humiliation over the treatment meted out to me, and my future looks bleak”.

Possibly she is contemplating a damage suit against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, holding them responsible for her enforced resignation from her ministerial position, as she has made it clear that she never holds the then Prime Minister responsible for what made her “humiliated so brutally”.

“The then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh wrote a letter to me, accepting my resignation, in which he praised the excellent work I had done as Minister, and what he termed my valuable contribution as Minister. In these circumstances, it was clearly not the Prime Minister nor my work in Government, which led to my ouster as Minister”, she has declared.

If she is not planning to drag Sonia and Rahul to the Court, she would not have been so emphatic in confronting Sonia with how she and Rahul had denied her natural justice.

“I want to place on record, that from December 20, 2013, until now, I have still not been told by you, why I was asked to resign from the Council of Ministers, nor have I ever been asked or given an opportunity to explain, if indeed I had committed any wrongdoing” she has said while further asserting that her letter is meant to do justice to her family “legacy” damaged by her “humiliation”.

“I wish to record that I tried several times to meet Shri Rahul Gandhi and you, but was not given an appointment” whereas “I need to save the legacy of my family; or children and my future generations will not forgive me”.

Interestingly, Natarajan has depicted in her letter how she was forced against her will to attack Modi in ‘snoopgate’ . To quote her:

“While I was still a Minister, an important matter which has caused me great agitation is the fact that I was called upon to attack the present Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on what is referred to in the media as ‘Snoopgate’.

“Despite the fact that I initially refused, because I thought that the party should attack Shri Modi on policy and governance and not drag an unknown woman into a controversy, Shri Ajay Maken telephoned me on November 16, 2013, while I was on tour and asked me to come to Delhi immediately to address a press conference on the issue. I expressed my disinclination to do this, and refused the assignment, mentioning that I was a Minister at that time, and this should not be taken as the point of view of Government. I suggested perhaps an Official Spokesperson should do the Press Conference, if so desired. Shri Maken told me once again, that this was a decision taken at “the highest level” and that I had no choice in the matter. After the press conference throughout the controversy which followed I was told by Shri Maken to fiercely attack Shri Modi, on TV channels and during debates, although I was otherwise never fielded in the media after appointment as Minister”.

Considering her disposition displayed in her letter, it is difficult to accept that she was also taking orders from Maken and implementing them.

So the mention of the Modi matter, indicating that in her view it was wrong to attack Modi, has a strong indication and that is, Kalyani Natarajan is building her up for Modi Mission.

Pranab Mukherjee should voluntarily vacate the President’s chair

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak

Mr. Narendra Modi has taken over as the 15th Prime Minister of India on May 26 after President Pranab Mukherjee administered oath of office and secrecy on him and his colleagues in the Council of Ministers. He is now to start seriously with his avowed scheme of “minimum government, maximum governance”, so that the jargon could be practically understood.

People have not given him the mandate considering him as a paragon of virtues. They have just avenged the most irresponsible administration, which Manmohan Singh had subjected them to. And, in absence of any other national alternative, people have preferred Modi and his party.

So, notwithstanding what he means by “minimum government, maximum governance”, Modi is to take steps to save the country from many a mischief of Manmohan Singh for which the people of India have changed the government.
The new government shall have to review the decisions taken during Singh’s decade long administration that were designed against India and are continuing to threaten our present and future generations. As for example, the nuclear deal with USA.

The deal was designed not to serve India’s interests, but basically to give “bonanza “ to US firms” (Reuters, August 25, 2007).

Even as M. V. Ramana, a physicist and nuclear affairs analyst attached to the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Environment and Development in Bangalore, maintained that the “ethnic Indian-American and U.S. business lobbies prevailed” in materializing the nuke deal, to Ron Somers, President as he then was of Indo-US Business Council, it laid “the foundation for major trade and investment opportunities in India for U.S. companies” (Inter Press Service, November 20, 2006)

Senator Joe Lieberman, known for his role in policy making and proximity to President Bush, was sure that the deal will get support of both the Houses of USA Congress because “it is so clearly in the interests of the United States” (Reuters, on August 12, 2007).

Convinced that the deal will only benefit USA, and hence, fearing that a future government of India may nullify it in Indian interest, the US Senate, while approving the ‘Henry J. Hyde United States-India Peaceful Atomic Energy Cooperation Act of 2006’ on 9 December 2006 had laid down that the “Indian Parliament must agree to the text” of the said Act, so that the deal shall have legitimate interminable life (‘Insight Briefing’: World Nuclear News, 12 January 2007).

But without placing the “text” of the Hyde Act in the Parliament, rather keeping the Parliament in total dark about the said Act lest the Parliament disapproves its “text”, Manmohan Singh had told the Press during an informal chat during the swearing in ceremony of Vice-President Hamid Ansari that, the deal had become final and “non-negotiable” as it was already “signed” and “sealed” (ANI,11 August 2007).

Pranab Mukherjee was the most active and relevant partner of Singh in this crime against India.

Despite it becoming an international deal because of such treachery of Manmohan Singh and Pranab Mukherjee, it is terminable, because of the fact that the “text” of the Hyde Act was not discussed and approved by Indian Parliament, before it was, as per Singh, “signed“ and “sealed”.

This deal has created the necessary environment to destroy India’s nuke independence that our scientists had developed with our own Thorium mother Nature has given us in abundance. The deal Manmohan Singh signed is not a trade deal; it is a “cooperation” deal and legitimatizes transfer of Thorium and the method of nuclear fuel cycle that our scientists had developed with our own Thorium to overcome the USA-led nuke boycott we were facing.

In fact, after the deal, within a period of six years, Thorium worth Rs.60 lakh-crores has been plundered (Times Now, 4 September 2013).

If Modi is really serious about giving a good governance, this mischief is to be exterminated and the deal signed by Manmohan Singh is to be scrapped and the former Prime Minister is to be subjected to criminal prosecution for the foul play he played against India at the behest of USA. But in this matter, the most discernible ally of the former PM was Pranab Mukherjee. The nation should be helped to ascertain his responsibility.

The UPA-II government was noted for mega scams involving thousands of lakhs of crores of rupees and for having reduced the country to a safe place for economic crimes. From Rs.1,76,000 crore 2G spectrum scam to ISRO – Devas S-Band transponders scam that caused, till location, a loss of Rs.2,00,000 crores to the exchequer; from Tatra to Chopper scams involving about Rs.825 crores in the area of defense deal; from Coal scam to the tune of Rs. 1, 86,000 crores to loss of Rs.20,000 crores to exchequer in Sarada group chit fund scam and Rs.11,000 crores in Vodafone tax offense, Manmohan Singh government’s footprints also bear the stamps of Pranab Mukherjee as his closest ally.

Prime Minister Modi has addressed his cabinet to issue of black money, in its first meeting. And, soon, if he is sincere in his mission of the yet undefined “maximum governance”, action will begin against the perpetrators of the scams, samples aforesaid.

This may be very embarrassing to Mr. Mukherjee.

Be it so or not, to ensure that the inquiries into and actions against the scams are free of possible higher influence, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee should voluntarily vacate the President’s chair and help the people’s mandate matter.

Withdrawal is not enough, mens rea needs be known

Subhas Chandra Pattanayak
The Prime Minister and his colleagues in the cabinet have proved that they do not serve Indian democracy; but serve the dynastic rule run by the misleading name of “Gandhi” as the mischievous ordinance contrived to protect the convicted members of Parliament and Assemblies stands withdrawn to please the prince of the said dynasty.

They have digested the insult of being called nonsense over the ordinance by Rahul Gandhi without even daring to condemn the Congress vice-president for the obnoxious manner he used to hurl the nasty wordy missile at the cabinet, that does not comprise the Congress members only, but also members of allies.

The mischief was meant to foil the mandamus issued by the Supreme court to unseat convicted members of the houses of people’s representatives and disallow candidacy to any convicted criminal in future. But Manmohan Singh ministry is so one with the criminals that it contrived a bill to foil the apex court order.

Other parties in the Opposition, almost all of them having thrived because of muscle and money power of the criminals, collectively, except the CPI and the BJD, wanted the Supreme Court verdict rendered inconsequential, even to the extent of seeing the bill cleared by the Rajya Sabha.

The entire nation, fortunately this time with appropriate media input, woke up against the mischief and the rumbling was too loud to be ignored.

So, despite its adoption in the Rajyasabha and despite pro-criminals being in utmost majority in the Loksabha, and despite its session extended for the purpose, the bill was not pressed for adoption. Then the cabinet crafted this ordinance.

At 6 PM today, the same cabinet has been forced to withdraw the ordinance and has agreed to withdraw the bill with leave of the Loksabha. The country has won.

But the Prime Minister, who should have resigned in recognition of the wrath of the people in this particular matter, has refused to resign. He and his cabinet colleagues have shown that they have no respect for the nation and they have no regards for public opinion. They have withdrawn the ordinance, because the son of the Congress autocrat wanted it withdrawn. In other words, therefore, the Prime Minister and his cabinet colleagues have, in withdrawing the ordinance, not honored the paramountcy of the people, but have carried out what Rahul Gandhi desired them to do. This is nothing but helping dynasty dwarf democracy.

In such circumstances, withdrawal of the notorious bill is not enough. The mens rea behind drafting of the bill and subsequent ordinance needs be made known. Let them be forced to divulge the mens rea.
